Due to a constant flood of information around the COVID-19 emergency, two young Salvadorans, Carlos Miguel Rivas y Carlos Roberto Jimenez, decided to create an app, COVID19 Tracker, to help the Salvadoran population stay better informed and track in real time the coronavirus’ localised growth trends, so as to prevent further spreading. This innovative app draws information from official sources and thus it not only presents verified data but also helps thwart the spreading of fake news.
