Ernesto is a former European Development Days Young Leader who specialises in education and business consultancy. At the onset of the mandatory quarantine in El Salvador, Ernesto led one of the first analyses about the impending human and economic impact of the pandemic, and particularly the financial crisis for SMEs. He single-handedly surveyed hundreds of Salvadoran companies to gather business intelligence that would help them move forward in uncharted waters. He has presented his findings to the Salvadoran Government and the leading business associations with a view to help them deliver timely economic policies to maintain business and job stability.
